HELLO!

---Public Sector Star Map---

This modular setting map hosts oodles of VTT-oriented features and forms the
backbone of any online Hull Breach campaign. Before you start digging around in
these folders, be sure to review this guide!

This map presents an expanded version of the full Public Sector Campaign map
found on Hull Breach Vol. 1 pg. viii, including additional locations from and
support for the Travel Procedures on pg. x at the very back of the book.

------------------------------------------------------------

MAP FEATURES

 - TRANSPARENT MAP LAYERS featuring locations and navigational data players can
purchase or acquire through play. See Travel Procedures for full Nav Data
mechanics. Each map location numbered 11-20 refers to a specific Landmarks
   table entry on pg. xi.

 - DASHBOARD MODULES that slot into their designated area in the map's lower-
righthand quadrant with additional campaign tracking functionality and
   in-universe corporate advertisements.

 - EXTRA MAP ICONS for the Warden to add additional Landmarks per the Travel
Procedures or drop non-Hull Breach modules into the Public Sector.

 - MAP PINS for players to track their position and points of interest.

All map and accessory files are scaled in proportion to each other, and should
match up correctly when used on a virtual tabletop.

!!! NOTE FOR ROLL20 USERS !!! Make sure your zoom is at least 100% when
uploading files to preserve the original image resolution! Otherwise, files
may load incorrectly scaled and require additional futzing.

------------------------------------------------------------

SETTING UP THE MAP

Non-VTT users may wish to pilfer the "Maps (Assembled)" folder for readily
sharable map files featuring various Nav Pack and Dashboard Module
configurations. If you're just playing over Discord, skip the other folders.

VTT users should instead:

 1. Access the "Maps (Transparent Layers)" folder and drag the files onto your
    tabletop.

 2. Ensure the Base Layer is always at the bottom of your map layers.
Otherwise, feel free to stack overlays and Nav Data layers in any order.

 3. Add Map Pins to the page, ensuring players can control their placement.

 4. Add a Dashboard Module of your choice.

------------------------------------------------------------

DASHBOARD MODULES

As you can only host a single module at a time, familiarize yourself with each
Dashboard's functionality to customize your gameplay experience:

 - OPEN CONTRACTS MODULE: When your players look for a job, whip out the Open
Contracts module and generate 3 mission options using the Job Board and
Reputation mechanics found at the front of the book. Be sure to use the map-
scaled Job Board cards for a perfect fit!

 - CREW DASHBOARD MODULE: This module tracks the current crew roster, active
mission and status. Place PC tokens on the PHOTO ID markers and use the
writing space to add names and other key character details.

 - NAVIGATOR'S LOG MODULE: The party navigator keeps track of location info
corresponding to placed Map Pins using this handy module.

If you're having trouble locating the Dashboard, find the area reading
"Attempting to load data, please wait" on the Base Layer.

The alternative "Transparent" versions of each Dashboard Module are placed
upon a map-sized transparent field for easy positioning on the map when using a
virtual tabletop.

------------------------------------------------------------

ADDITIONAL NOTES

If your players manage to complete the Hope Hyperlane, be sure to repair
location #8 on your map with the Hope Hyperlane Completed Overlay (found in the
Transparent Layers folder)!

You can find standalone, high-resolution versions of the Company Ads and Job
Board Mission cards in the Public Sector Assets folder.
